Modena Jacquard Collar

The Modena Jacquard Collar is woven on looms that integrate the pattern directly into the nylon band structure. Unlike printed or embroidered designs, jacquard weaving creates texture that won't crack, peel, or fade with exposure.
MiaCara's design team specified machined aluminium for the buckle and D-ring. Aluminium weighs roughly half what zinc alloy does at comparable strength, and it won't corrode after rain walks or beach runs. The fittings undergo tensile load testing before production approval.
The sliding adjuster allows continuous positioning across the full size range. No punch holes, no compromises between too loose and too tight. A silicone logo tag sits flat against the band rather than dangling.
Nylon jacquard handles weather well. The band sheds water, dries within hours, and releases mud with a wipe. Hand wash occasionally with mild soap. Nothing more required.
One consideration: the streamlined aesthetic won't appeal to those who prefer substantial leather or polished brass. The collar is deliberately minimal. Aluminium will develop surface marks with use, though structural integrity remains unaffected.
The one-handed fastening mechanism helps when clipping a collar onto an impatient dog. Three muted colorways coordinate with the matching Modena lead for those inclined toward visual consistency.
