Loggia Artisan Cave

The Loggia Artisan Cave is constructed from structured wool felt with a 90% wool content, dense enough to hold its cocoon shape yet soft enough to invite extended rest. German design studio ADDI created the form around a simple observation: cats want enclosure without isolation.
The felt body sits elevated on a powder-coated steel frame, lifting the sleeping surface off cold floors while providing a sightline to the room. This slight elevation matters. Cats favor positions that let them monitor their surroundings, and the raised vantage point satisfies that instinct without requiring height.
MiaCara manufactures most of their products in Germany and Europe, with an emphasis on materials that age well. The vegetable-tanned leather branding tab will darken over time. The wool felt will eventually show wear from claws and nesting, which is expected. When it does, MiaCara sells replacement felt inserts rather than requiring a full replacement.
The frame comes in matte white or black. Neither finish shows dust readily. The overall footprint stays compact at 46cm long, fitting beside furniture or in corners without dominating the room.
One consideration: this is a cave, not a bed. Some cats prefer open sleeping surfaces. The enclosed form suits cats who seek covered spaces for rest.
